Protective now requires multi-factor authentication for direct link EZ-App users

As Protectors of customer and producer data, your login experience to EZ-App via the website at ezapp.protective.com/agent/login now contains multi-factor authentication. This aligns with our security standards across all Protective website domains that require login credentials.

As part of Protective's ongoing efforts to protect our customers' and agents' information and ensure standard security protocols across all our websites, as of December 12, 2022, we have implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) for those who access EZ-App via the EZ-App website at ezapp.protective.com/agent/login.


MyProtective.com already has MFA, and this new solution to EZ-App's webpage mimics the same experience.


Anticipated questions may occur related to multiple users utilizing one email address to access EZ-App. Primary account users will need to register new users or set up sub-user accounts as part of this new security solution.


Below are screenshots to help you with this new process. If you have questions, please contact your Protective Life representative.

1. At the login screen of the EZ-App website, click the green login button, which will take you to MyProtective. Use your MyProtective username and password credentials to log in.

2. If you are the primary account user, you will receive a notification email within minutes to the email address on file. (Please note: Primary account users will need to register new users or set up sub-user accounts. View these instructions.)

3. Enter the verification code on the MyProtective screen.

4. You will be automatically redirected to the EZ-App landing page.
