• Digital Part II:
  • Juvenile applications: We now provide the ability to submit applications for juveniles on our online application platform:
    • Child/juvenile insured
    • Child term rider selection
  • Parental Guardian capabilities: With the ability to submit juvenile life applications online, we have also enhanced the ability for parental guardians to sign on behalf of and indicate their relationship to the juvenile insured. Reminder: During registration, the parent or guardian's information should be used to register for an account.
• Effective July 1, New York goes paperless: In New York only, we're moving to a fully electronic application process and discontinuing use of the paper application packet. Paper applications will be discontinued. Please note that there will be no exceptions to paper applications in the state of New York after June 30. Products impacted:
  • Protective ProClassic^SM II UL
  • Protective^® Classic Choice Term
• Paramed online scheduler: We'll soon offer the ability for customers to schedule their paramed exam (if required) online after they complete their digital application – no need to wait for the assigned exam company to call.
• Term conversion digital application submission: We are enhancing the process for submitting term conversion applications, allowing you to submit your conversion apps digitally through Velocity's EZ-App.
