As we step into 2026, it’s a natural time to pause and reflect on the year behind us and the significant progress we’ve made together. 2025 was a year of meaningful advancement for Protective – we strengthened our core product lines, continued to improve the underwriting and service experience, and stayed focused on what matters most: helping you grow your business while protecting the clients you serve.

• Nearly 82,000 individuals were insured.
• We placed $65.8 billion in death benefit coverage.
• We paid $3.5 billion in claims to 66,856 beneficiaries.

Reinforcing term leadership

Term insurance is the core of many client relationships, and we continued to invest where it counts. We reinforced our term leadership in the marketplace by maintaining strong competitiveness, streamlining the application experience and delivering support that makes term insurance easier to place.

Strong permanent life solutions

We continued to strengthen our permanent portfolio in 2025 by adding our Enhanced No-Lapse Guarantee rider to our flagship Strategic Objectives II VUL product and reinforcing our Lifetime Assurance UL to offer a strong, dependable protection solution for legacy planning.

Real progress in underwriting and service

2025 was a banner year for underwriting, with improvements designed to make a real difference in your day-to-day business. We took several measures in 2025 to improve cycle times, expand accelerated underwriting ages and face amounts and improve communication throughout the underwriting process. This work will continue in 2026 to help you place business more quickly and create an overall better experience for you and your clients.
