Transition rules

Applications signed on 10/21/2022, or prior:

• Cash cases — Applications signed 10/21/2022 or prior will receive current death benefit if funds and application are received within 10 business days from the application sign date.
• Underwriting cases — Applications signed 10/21/2022 or prior will receive current death benefit if funds and application are received within 10 business days of underwriter approval.
• Transfer/Exchange cases/Reg 60 — Applications signed 10/21/2022 or prior will receive current death benefit if funds and application are received within 60 calendar days of the sign date.

Applications signed on 10/24/2022 and after will receive new death benefit.

Marketing materials

All related marketing materials will be updated on our website to reflect the increased death benefit factors on October 24, 2022. To replace the Estate Maximizer materials you have on hand, please contact your Protective Life wholesaler, or call 800-866-6410, option 4.
