Protective Life Underwriting Solution (PLUS) is designed to offer a more tailored and expedited underwriting experience. In each case, PLUS underwrites clients with the least invasive requirements possible and optimizes speed to issue.
What does the underwriting process look like with PLUS?
PLUS offers the opportunity to qualify for accelerated underwriting, and in some cases, bypass attending physician statements (APS) and labs. Whether a client qualifies for accelerated or traditional underwriting, our TeleLife® team of experts will ensure a smooth and efficient process.

The PLUS program was designed to expedite issuing a policy by tailoring the underwriting process to include the least invasive requirements as possible.

PLUS can reduce your overall cycle time and takes tasks off your plate. Whether your client goes through traditional or accelerated underwriting, the TeleLife® team is there to take care of administrative tasks of the process.

If a client is participating in a TeleLife® interview, the application will automatically be run through the PLUS program. PLUS will gather data during the interview to determine the best underwriting requirements and available class for the applicant.

PLUS is available to underwrite Protective Advantage Choice℠ UL, Protective® Classic Choice term, Protective Custom Choice℠ UL, Protective Indexed Choice℠ UL, Protective® Lifetime Assurance UL and ProClassic II℠ UL applications.
