Protective customers with multiple applications now have a streamlined process for completing their Online Part II. When multiple applications are submitted for the same insured/owner, the customer interview only needs to be completed once. It will be automatically transferred to other applications submitted within the eligible timeframe (12 months through age 70, 6 months for ages 71+.)
1. For their first interview, customers will follow the standard process: Access the interview via the personalized link sent by Protective (or by logging into MyAccount.Protective.com), complete required disclosures (Electronic Consent/Honesty Statement, HIPAA, and Height/Weight), then complete the interview questions and submit.
2. For each additional application, the customer will:
- Open the application in Protective’s Portal and complete required disclosures.
- See their interview open with responses copied from the original interview. A message will appear at the top of the screen confirming the transfer and asking them to review for accuracy before proceeding.
- If any additional questions are required (due to the product, age change since the first interview, etc.), the customer will be able to answer those online.
- Upon submission, they’ll see the “Your medical interview is complete” confirmation screen.
The submission process for agents is also simplified, as they will no longer need to wait until the first interview is completed before submitting additional applications. Protective’s system can detect in real time if the customer has completed an interview and will automatically copy the responses. So, the agent can submit all applications at the same time, and the customer can easily complete the first one and then quickly confirm their answers / submit for any additional interview(s.)
